Hi, my sweet boy! I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I have some exciting news to share with you that I know you’ve been waiting to hear. After nine long months, I’m finally coming home to be with you!
It feels like forever since I left, and I’ve missed you every single day. I’ve thought about you every day, imagining all the fun things you’ve been doing and all the ways you’ve grown. I can’t wait to see your smiling face and give you the biggest hug ever. And we will go get ice-cream... I'm dying to have some chocolate mint ice cream with you.
Being away from you has been the hardest part of my deployment. I’ve missed our special moments, like bedtime stories, playing games, and just being together. I’ve carried those memories with me, and they’ve given me so much strength and happiness while I’ve been away.
I’ve been counting down the days until I could come back and be with you again. I’m so proud of how brave and strong you’ve been while I’ve been gone. I know it hasn’t been easy, but you’ve been such a good boy, and that makes me so proud to be your mom.
When I get back, we’re going to have so much fun together. We can go to the park, play your favorite games, and catch up on all the stories we’ve missed. We’ll make new memories and treasure every moment together.
I want you to know that even though I was far away, you were always in my heart. You are the most important person in my life, and everything I do is for you. I love you more than words can say, and I’m so excited to be coming home to you.
Keep being the wonderful, amazing boy that you are. I’ll be home in 30 days, and we’ll be together again, just like we’ve been dreaming about. I love you to the moon and back, my sweet boy.
